God Delivers
“He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas.” (Psalm 102:17)
Introduction: Your Sister in Christ
I’ve got a testimony that God delivers. And as with a previous testimony I shared with you, it was the song ‘Jesus is my Deliverer’ that brought this reality to me. God has indeed delivered me and I’ve failed to tell of His goodness to others. So I will now attempt to share, through individual articles, a few of these areas of my life where God has delivered me.
When I cry out to God he hears and delivers me. Having delivered me, I now have a responsibility to share with others so that God can be praised. The bible says: “He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas.” (Psalm 102:17) and I can personalise this verse because it perfectly describes what I am trying to say through these testimonies.
I pray that you will find comfort in this form of sharing, especially if you are in the waiting room at the moment. Sometimes we find that patience is our weakness when we pray. However, If we fully submit to God, and follow His instructions, there is no need to be impatient. He promises to give us the desires of our hearts, if our ways please Him. So stand on His word today and patiently wait. He will deliver you, at the right time.
While you are in the waiting room, just keep serving; keep growing in Christ and let go of all your worries; allowing God full control. In time you will give birth.
