"Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My Words."
(Jeremiah 18:2,NKJV)

This month I would like to encourage you to develop a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  If you are a regular church visitor but haven't yet made a commitment to knowing and serving God, then it is time for you to think about your eternal future.  Get busy reading the bible and seeking understanding of the journey you are on and do not be afraid to ask your church leaders questions.  If you do not know Jesus Christ, then I encourage you to visit your local church and explore the various ways in which you can get to know all about our wonderful Lord and Saviour.

I have spent all my life believing that going to church and being good was all I needed to do.  That was the old me.  I have since found out what it means to enter into communion with my Lord and Saviour.  I have developed a meaningful relationship with my Master; understanding what it means to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and I am enjoying the process that He is taking me through, in order to perfect me and make me into the vessel He so desires.  The process is painful and the journey is sometimes very lonely, but I have never been happier on my faith journey. There is a peace within that keeps me calm and joyful while chaos is all around me.  I long to be all that He created me to be.  I have only had a taste and a glimpse of what's instore, so I understand that in order to get the fullness, I need to be de-contaminated.  So while He is working on me, I shan't ask what He is making.  I'll just be obedient to His call and stay in His will; allowing Him to create a masterpiece.

God is real and no one can tell me otherwise.  I have experienced His love and His grace and I cannot stop testifying.  I cannot help but sing His praises. I'm addicted!  I could have easily been a statistic in various ways: from childhood to marriage. But instead of being a school/college or university drop-out, when funds were low, I graduated with honours.  Instead of an inquest being carried out after an attempt on my life, because I was different, I lived to tell the tale and became an instrument in helping to break down the barriers of racial prejudices.  Instead of being wheelchair bound for the rest of my life, after two car accidents, I am here to testify of God's goodness. And rather than watching our marriage breakdown, we have overcome.

Knowing Jesus Christ for myself brought me to a place of tranquility where nothing can steal my JOY.  This is why I share with you through my writing, so that you can have a taste of what I am experiencing and want to try Him for yourself.  With Jesus, you can beat the odds.  You don't have to settle for less.

God is all I need and when you taste of His goodness, you'll realise that He is all you need. Faith, I cannot give you, but I can introduce you to the one who gives unconditional love, the love everyone craves.  I also pray that through my writing, God will use me as a vessel to shine for Him.
